Why Participate?

Hall of fame

As if the exciting chance to win a week's trip to the Sun JavaOne conference in San Francisco (and other prizes) is not enough, there are many other good reasons for students to enter this Challenge:

  • An excellent opportunity to apply your programming knowledge in a practical manner, gain professional skills and experience, and a great topic for your Curriculum Vitae!
  • You will be in touch with various companies and could gain valuable contacts within the business world.
  • Some students in previous contests have even been offered work placements or jobs at Sun, Ricoh and partner companies. Read more
  • You will compete (and socialise!) with other University students across Europe.
