The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a general-purpose specification for creating custom markup languages.

Xlet

Xlet is a clearly defined lifecycle model, managed by the lifecycle manager (XletManager). Lifecycle is a change between start, pause, continue, destroy of an application. Unlike applets, GUI is not necessary.
